EcoCamp nominated at TRAVEL + LEISURE 2025 World’s Best Awards

Once again, EcoCamp Patagonia has been nominated for the TRAVEL + LEISURE World’s Best Awards 2025! It means a lot to be recognized among so many amazing hotels worldwide and in Chile, especially as an eco-friendly and sustainable hotel. Now, we need your help to win!

Travel + Leisure is an American digital magazine with resources for trip ideas, hotel picks, flight sales, city guides, and travel tips from the experts. They reach more than 16 million readers per month with the goal of helping and inspiring their readers to make the most of their invaluable free time. Being mentioned in their magazine is a big recognition, and we hope that our eco concept will reach more people around the world.

How to vote for EcoCamp Patagonia:

To cast your vote, head to the Travel + Leisure voting website at TLWBAVOTE.com and follow these steps:

When you arrive on the site, it will ask if this is your first time voting. If it is, you’ll be prompted to answer the following: Do you currently reside in the United States?  

Next, you’ll need to create an account using your email and a password to register.  

After registration, the site will request some basic details, such as your gender, age, continent, and country of residence.  

You’ll also encounter a few quick questions about your engagement with the magazine—whether you’ve visited the site recently, signed up for their newsletter, or followed them on social media. Don’t worry—your answers here won’t impact your ability to vote.  

Lastly, you’ll be asked about the regions you’ve explored over the past three years. This is where you can highlight all your destinations. To vote for EcoCamp Patagonia, it is important that you choose Chile as a country and select 'hotels'. 

Once you navigate to the EcoCamp Patagonia section, you can rate various aspects of your experience.  

And that’s it—you’re done! 

If you traveled with Cascada Expediciones, you can also vote for them in the Chilean category "Tour Operators and Safari Outfitters." 

The voting deadline is February 24, 2025. U.S. citizens who submit their votes will be entered into a drawing for a prize of USD 15,000 or the Viking Cruise experience for two people to Australia and New Zealand.

EcoCamp Patagonia is among big luxury hotels

Various big luxury hotels and hotel chains recognized worldwide and in Chile are on the voting list. It is already an honor that our dome hotel, which doesn't have all the luxury items of other hotels, is nominated among these accomodations! It would, therefore, be a huge win to be recognized for our own concept of luxury:

The disconnection to the modern world (no WiFi) and connection to nature, to fellow travelers, and to yourself. 

We owe a big thanks to all our amazing staff for making this experience special for our guests! Some people work "behind the curtains," making sure everything is neat and tight. Being located in one of the most remote places in the world, with an extreme climate, comes with challenges, but everybody on the team plays a key role; no one is more important than others. "EcoCamp Patagonia was amazing! They made our honeymoon trip one to remember. From the initial steps of planning to coordinating travel and our time on the property, everything was easy! We loved the Wildlife Safari package and having the ability to choose different excursions each day.
